Some spots are never going to grow good grass: deep shade, the dog run, the strip by the pool, the side yard that never dries. Artificial turf gives you a clean, green, usable surface in exactly those places, without mowing, watering or mud.
Like every surface we install, turf is only as good as what is under it. We excavate, build a compacted stone base that drains, and secure and seam the turf so it lies flat and stays put.
What Is Included
Lawn & side-yard turf
Natural-looking turf for areas where real grass struggles.
Pet areas
Fast-draining, easy-to-rinse turf systems built for dogs.
Play areas
A clean, mud-free surface for open play space.
Putting greens
Custom backyard greens shaped to your space.
Built to drain
New Jersey gets steady rain and real freeze-thaw. A turf installation here needs a properly compacted, free-draining stone base and solid edging, or it will ripple and hold water. That base work is where we put our time.
How It Works
- Consultation. We walk the property with you and look at what the job involves and what you want the finished result to be.
- Plan & Estimate. You get a clear written scope and price. No surprises and no pressure.
- The Work. Our crew shows up on the day we said, does the job properly and keeps the site clean.
- Walkthrough. We go over the finished work together and answer any questions about looking after it.
What Affects the Cost
Every property is different, so we price each job after seeing it. These are the main factors:
- Square footage. The size of the area to be covered.
- Turf type. Pet, play and putting turf are different products at different prices.
- Base and excavation. How much soil comes out and how much stone goes in.
- Shape and seams. Curves, edges and tight spaces take more cutting and fitting.
Artificial Turf: Frequently Asked Questions
How long does artificial turf last?
Quality turf typically lasts 15 to 20 years with basic care.
Is it good for dogs?
Yes. Pet turf drains quickly and rinses clean. We use infill suited to pets and can add extra drainage in heavy-use areas.
Does it need maintenance?
Very little. Blow off leaves, rinse occasionally and brush high-traffic areas to keep the blades upright.
Does artificial turf get hot?
Yes. In full summer sun artificial turf gets much hotter than natural grass, hot enough on a 90-degree afternoon to be uncomfortable or even unsafe for bare feet and paws. Hosing it down cools it only for a short while. If the area gets strong afternoon sun and will be used by kids or dogs, we talk through shade and product options with you, and we will tell you honestly if turf is the wrong choice for that spot.
