Leaves look harmless, but a thick, wet layer left on the lawn through winter blocks sunlight, traps moisture and leaves you with thin, matted or dead patches in spring. On wooded Central New Jersey lots, the volume can be more than a homeowner with a rake can keep up with.
We bring commercial blowers and enough crew to clear the whole property efficiently, including the spots that get skipped: behind the shed, along fences, in window wells and in the beds.
What Is Included
Full-property leaf clearing
Lawn, beds, patios, driveways and fence lines blown out and cleared.
Haul-away
Leaves collected and hauled off, or moved to the curb where your town collects them.
Multiple visits
Two or three visits through the fall for heavily wooded lots, so leaves never pile up.
Final cleanup
A last pass after the trees are bare, so the property goes into winter clean.
When leaves come down in Central NJ
Leaf drop here usually starts in mid-October and runs through late November, with oaks hanging on the longest. One cleanup at the end works for lighter properties. Heavily treed lots do better with scheduled visits, so the lawn is never buried for weeks at a time.
How It Works
- Consultation. We walk the property with you and look at what the job involves and what you want the finished result to be.
- Plan & Estimate. You get a clear written scope and price. No surprises and no pressure.
- The Work. Our crew shows up on the day we said, does the job properly and keeps the site clean.
- Walkthrough. We go over the finished work together and answer any questions about looking after it.
What Affects the Cost
Every property is different, so we price each job after seeing it. These are the main factors:
- Number and type of trees. Mature oaks and maples drop a lot more than a few ornamentals.
- Property size. More lawn and more beds to clear.
- Number of visits. A single final cleanup or a series through the fall.
- Haul-away or curbside. Removing leaves from the site takes more time than moving them to the curb.

Leaf Removal: Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take the leaves away?
Yes. We can haul them off site, or move them to the curb if your town runs leaf collection and you prefer that.
Is one visit enough?
For lightly treed yards, usually. For wooded lots we recommend two or three visits so the lawn is not smothered while you wait for the last leaves to fall.
Why not just leave the leaves until spring?
A light scattering is fine. A thick layer mats down under snow and rain, blocks light, and encourages mold and dead patches. Spring cleanup also takes longer once leaves are wet and packed.
Do you clean out the beds too?
Yes. Beds, around shrubs, fence lines and corners are all part of the job.
